Governing Body Plan for Wa-Nee Community School Corporation

Members of the board shall be elected in the primary elections.

Candidates for the board shall compete on a non-partisan ballot.

The vote for board members shall be on a district-wide basis, with each qualified voter in the school district privileged to cast a ballot for one candidate for each vacancy to be filled.

The term of office of members of the Board of School Trustees shall be four years.

The Board of School Trustees shall consist of seven (7) members:

1.  One member shall be a resident of Olive Township.

2.  One member shall be a resident of Harrison Township.

3.  One member shall be a resident of Locke Township.

4.  One member shall be a resident of Union Township.

5.  One member shall be a resident of that part of Kosciusko included in the school district (Scott-Jefferson).

6.  Two members at large who shall reside within the school district.
