Governing Body Plan of Fairfield Community School Corporation

The school district shall be divided into three (3) board member districts.  The geographical boundaries of Benton Township shall make up one board member district; the geographical boundaries of Clinton Township shall make up one board member district; and the geographical boundaries of Jackson Township shall make up one board member district.

The number of members of the Board of Education of the school district shall be five (5).

Each board member district shall be represented by an elected board member residing in its district at the time of his election, and not more than two board members shall reside in any one board member district at the time of election.

The members of the board of school trustees shall be elected on a non-political ballot and shall be voted upon by the electorate of the entire school district at the primary election.
