Governing Body Plan for Elkhart Community School Corporation

The boundaries for the four (4) electoral districts from which members are elected shall include the following precincts or portions of these precincts:

District A:  Washington 92, 93, 94, and 95, Osolo 64, 67, and 103, Cleveland 80, 81, 82, and 108

District B:  Osolo 28, 29, 37, 38, 39, 40, 63, 65, 66, 101, 102, 104, and 105

District C:  Concord 25, 26, 27, 30, 32, 34, 35, 36, 41, 42, 43, and 44, and Cleveland 79

District D:  Concord 45, 46, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 54, 55, and 56.

The election of said Board shall be held at the primary election at which county officials are nominated.  The members of the Board shall be elected on a non-partisan ballot. 

The term of office shall be four (4) years, but a board member may succeed himself or herself in office.

Three (3) of the members shall be at-large members, elected by all the voters of the school corporation and four (4) of the members shall be electoral district members residing in the electoral district from which he or she is elected by voters residing in that same electoral district.
