Governing Body Plan for Baugo Community School Corporation

District I:  Bounded on the North by Indiana Avenue; on the South by County Road 28; on the West by the Elkhart County line; on the East by County Road 1.

District II:  Bounded on the North by the St. Joseph River; on the South by Indiana Avenue East to County Road 1, South to the New York Central Railroad right of way, and East to State Road 19; on the West by the Elkhart County line; on the East by State Road 19.

District III:  Bounded on the North by the New York Central Railroad right of way; on the South by County Road 28; on the West by County Road 1; on the East by State Road 19.

The board of school trustees shall include five (5) members.  The members of the board of school trustees shall be elected on a non-political ballot and shall be voted upon by the electorate of the entire school district at the primary election.  The community school district shall be divided into three (3) school board member districts designated as District I, II, and III.  One (1) member shall be elected from each of the three school board member districts and two (2) members shall be elected members-at-large.  Not more than two (2) board members shall reside in any one board member district at the time of election.  The term of office for board members shall be four (4) years.
